All Student Life staff send email to slhelpdesk@ucsd.edu for any IT requests or issues. If you know the person you need help from you can address that person in your email. A ticket will be generated automatically with the ITS service desk and be sent to you. Once you receive this ticket you will be able to log into the ITS Self-Service portal to add attachments such as screenshots and carbon copy other colleagues via a “Watch” list.
With the ITS Self-Service portal users will be able to see and track all their open tickets, add additional information as needed, or close tickets if they were resolved on their own. At the fulfillment of each ticket a survey will be sent to provide feedback and comments.
