Jason Avalos

Prior to joining the team, Jason worked for 4 years as a Student Engagement Coordinator in the School of Biological Sciences at UC San Diego where he oversaw the STARTneuro, STARTastro, and BUMMP programs. In his role, he coordinated professional development workshops/events, managed budgets, and provided administrative support to undergraduate/graduate students, faculty, and staff.

Jason graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Mathematics-Computer Science and he is currently pursuing a M.S. in Applied Data Science at the University of San Diego.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys going to the beach to watch sunsets, working out, hiking, and spending time with his dogs.
