Funding for Student Governments
A Funding Source is required for any event where the University will be providing funds for food, other event related services, or supplies.
Please make sure your Primary Funding Source and any Secondary Funding Sources are entered into the Funding Module no later than 14 days out from the event.
Primary Funding Source
- Prior to starting your event in TAP, please confirm with your Student Government Advisor which funding you should be using and how much is available. Please add COA information and budget information in the funding module by 14 days out.
Secondary Funding Sources (Departmental Support)
- If you are receiving Departmental Secondary Funding support for your event, please list that information in the Funding module so that your SLBO Fund Manager can track the confirmation status.
- To ensure that any necessary transfers are processed for your event in a timely manner, please send an email to your secondary funding department and copy your SLBO Fund Manager so that our Financial Units can work together to either complete the fund transfer, or confirm the COA details our office can charge to.
